We're looking for volunteers!

Pen Movers Community Moderator

Hello! We need your help in engaging our community through:
1. Posting or sharing content one to two times a week
2. Replying to members' comments and previous threads during your assigned day 
3. Assisting our webinars or online meet-ups (depending on your availability)

▀ WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR
You're a budding or seasoned writer who wants to engage our community through Facebook posts in our group or possible participation as facilitator for our webinars and livestreams.

▀ WHAT'S IN IT FOR YOU?
1. You can use this as an opportunity to brand yourself as an authority about a topic. For example, our Pen Movers admin Liz wants to share her creative writing tips to eventually teach about the subject. If you have an expertise or area you want to be known for, this will help you get started in publishing content about it.
2. You'll get the front seat in learning about our events calendar and online meet-ups. We message our admins and moderators to ask for their availability before scheduling.
3. This can serve as an internship where you can practice planning and sharing content on social media. You'll get an e-certificate as our community moderator for the given period. If you're planning to offer social media related freelancing gigs in the future, you may add this to your portfolio.
4. You may claim a 30% discount code applicable for all our online courses while you're a moderator. You may use this to register yourself.
5. Build rapport with Writing Hacks Academy's core team members. Who knows? We might explore paid collaborations or partnerships with you in the future. Let's see how you interact with our team. We'll also be a chat away if you'll have questions.

▀ WILL I GET PAID?
This is pro-bono and we don't offer compensation since we're still growing the group.

▀ HOW LONG WILL THIS BE?
We will ask for a 12-week commitment. You'll receive a conformity letter/ informal agreement detailing your responsibilities and what you'll get in exchange.

▀ WHO WILL I BE REPORTING? 
All moderators will be reporting to an assigned admin or community manager.

▀ WHEN WILL I HEAR ABOUT THE RESULTS?
You will hear about the results within 15 business days.
